Rules in relation to swimming pool opening times

The pool will open if the predicted maximum is 24 degrees or above (see forecast below)

Pool will be open for the complete session, regardless of attendance numbers

Admission Fees 2026/27

Adult - $6.00

Pensioner - $5.00

Child (17 years and under) - $2.00

Child (0-12 months) - No charge

Non-swimmer - $2.00

Lap Swimming - requires a season pass

Season Passes

Single Adult - $60.00

Single Pensioner - $50.00

Single Child (17 years and under) - $25.00

Enjoy the facilities, but please remember to behave appropriately. Those who pose a risk to themselves or others may be asked to leave, and no refund will be issued.

Pool Rules

Prohibited Activities:

• Alcohol
• Smoking and vaping
• Diving in the shallow area
• Running around the pool area
• Rough play
• Somersaults
• Urinating or defecating in the pool
• Wearing soiled or dirty clothing in the pool
• Dogs are not permitted on the pool premises, except for certified service animals.

Medical Conditions: Individuals with medical conditions should inform the Lifeguard on duty before entering the water.

Non-Swimmers: Non-swimmers using floating aids must be in areas where they can touch the bottom.

Hygiene:

• Shower before entering the pool.
• Individuals with gastrointestinal infections should avoid the pool for 14 days after symptoms cease.
• Infants and toddlers must wear aqua nappies.
• Change nappies in designated areas and wash hands thoroughly.
• Individuals with incontinence should use the toilet frequently and wear appropriate garments.
• Adhere to the latest SA Health directives for preventing the spread of infectious diseases.

Minimum Temperature

Forecasted temperature: must be 24 degrees or above at 9:00am (ACDT) on the day, according to Council’s website for the Swimming Pools to open to public patrons.

Closure

1. The swimming pool facilities will close at the times advertised on Council’s website. Patrons and swimmers are asked to cease swimming and have exited the facility by the advertised closure time.
2. Occasionally, due to staffing availability or technical issues relating to safe operations of the swimming pools, the swimming pool(s) may need to close. As much notice will be provided as practicably possible via Council’s Facebook page and Swimming Pool notice boards.

Acknowledgement

By entering the pool facility, patrons agree to comply with the Swimming Pool Conditions of Entry. Failure to adhere to these conditions may result in expulsion from the pool, the facility, or a potential ban.
