The Southern Mallee District Council operates Long Day Care Services in both Lameroo and Pinnaroo. The services operate from purpose built facilities that opened for operation in February 2020.

Mallee COGS is a non-profit Government subsidised service. All proceeds from families out of pocket expenses, Child Care Subsidy and Community Child Care Fund are used to cover Staff wages and operational expenses. Fees are set by the Southern Mallee District Council and reviewed annually.

Mallee COGS has a fee agreement (CWA) which must be signed when your child is enrolled at the centre.

Session fees are based on an hourly fee rate of $15.90 per hour.

Late pick up fee

Late fees are applied to:

Maintain staff ratios for licensing. It is essential that booked times are adhered to or cancellations are notified as soon as possible.
Late collection of children results in extra staff costs being incurred. The service staff will be leaving the premises and have strict time schedules to adhere to. Therefore, any additional costs will be passed on to the enrolling parent/guardian.

Late fees are applied at a fee of $15.90 for every 15 minutes (or part thereof). Monitoring of the Late Time Fee will be conducted by the time recorded on the electronic sign in/out software.

Parents are required to:
