Waste Water Management
Council operates a Community Wastewater Management System (CWMS) within the towns of Lameroo and Pinnaroo. These systems require each property to have a septic tank which discharges wastewater offsite through a CWMS connection. Properties outside of the CWMS area are required to have an onsite wastewater management system. Onsite wastewater management systems can include soakage system, aerated wastewater treatment system and wastewater irrigation. Council approval is required for all installation and alteration to any wastewater management system.
